Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin announced in March that they’d decided to separate (or consciously uncouple for those of you who are following their dramatic story). However, they’ve done more together in the public eye since their “conscious uncoupling” than they have in the past few years. Despite the fact that Martin is now dating Hunger Games star Jennifer Lawrence and Paltrow is rumored to be dating a Hollywood director, the ex-couple has been spotted out and about, once again, with their family. Just last night the couple was spotted having an intimate family dinner with their two children in Hollywood. They were joined by a friend who also had a child, and witnesses say the family looked like your everyday happy family, smiling, laughing and enjoying their time together.
Diners at Katsuya say that the couple stayed with their children even after their guests departed for the evening. Martin and Paltrow spoke happily to one another and even shared photos on their phones, both smiling at one another and appearing happy for whatever it was they were looking at. The kids, additionally, also seemed to be in a good mood, chatting with their parents and enjoying their dinner while behaving very well.
“They seemed like a happy family. They all seemed very happy and were getting along. Chris kept showing Gwyneth what looked like pictures on his phone and they were smiling,” said the diner who witnessed their interaction. This comes just on the heels of a rumor that Paltrow is looking forward to meeting Jennifer Lawrence so that she can get to know the other woman in Martin’s life. She’s been said to want to meet the actress so that she can get to know her before the actress is introduced to the couple’s children. Sounds pretty responsible in the parenting department.
